| I was hoping to attend but life has other plans for now... New Digs~ After six years of following work and renting while also renting out my house, I finally have a new home for the Z - and somewhere to sleep close by :D At this time, I'm mostly thinking "WTF is wrong with people?" - I always like to leave a place nicer than when I got there - I've been cleaning up other people's messes on both ends for years now. I suppose I should not have expected anything different... Anyway, on to the pics! The garage:
 
I'll have to measure it out, but the appraiser put it at 19x25. I would like to separate out a workshop in order to be able to do other projects while keeping the Z clean or sawdust and the like, but I don't want to sacrifice too much space in doing so. Gifts from the former owner:

The flooring on the first has been updated throughout the years - makes for a really hodgepodge look. I'd like to tear it all out and have some continuity throughout the house. The upstairs is carpet. Owners had pets for the 16 years or so they lived there. Its all gotta go! Painted knotty pine walls on the first:

Despite all the work in front of me, I'm happy with it. Good neighborhood, schools, etc. Block and a half from the Bay with a community park and beach. Decent privacy. Needs a heavy up on the electric, roof, windows, and an addition to the second floor would be nice. Hope to have much of this updated by the end of this month! Any advice and experience is welcome.
Any whole house water filtration and UV light pros out there? I've installed a house filter before, but that was many years ago. Well water, public sewer.
